Planning Satisfying Visit To Yellowstone National Park

When it’s time to plan the vacation your family will take this summer, consider going out of doors for a weekend, or even for a full week. If you don’t have the kind of family that likes to go on camping trips, you can still have a great outdoor vacation by visiting a national park and taking a few guided tours. In this article, you will learn about planning a great vacation at Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is probably the most well-known American national park, and there’s a good reason for this. There’s so much to see and do at Yellowstone that you’ll most certainly want to arrange a guided tour to get the most out of your trip. When touring Yellowstone you will want to, of course, see the geysers. This natural feature in which water erupts from the earth is what people usually think of when they think of this natural area. Don’t forget to check out other amazing features of the park. If you have even a passing interest in geology, you will find many wonders at Yellowstone. You will also want to learn about the waterfalls, which help to make the park such a magical place. To make the vacation more educational, sign up for a tour that will offer a fun and intriguing geography lesson. You can learn about why the park looks the way it does. Wildlife is another great feature at Yellowstone Park. Your family can have a great time hiking and looking for small mammals and birds. If you want a more in-depth look at the park’s wildlife, however, you would...

Namibia Family Safari

There can be no better holiday to take with your children than on a safari. Quite apart from the excitement of visiting another country and a magnificent country at that, there is the educational value of enlightening young minds that is priceless. And there can be no better place to take that magical family safari than Namibia, a desert country of stark and breathtaking beauty with one of the world’s wildest coastlines. Namibia is sparsely populated but proud and culturally diverse tribes live as they have lived over generations. It is a country rich in diamonds, wilderness and wildlife. All this makes it an ideal family safari or family vacation destination. This is a place that is popular with celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who also found it a great place to have their baby! Unlike many of the popular safari destinations in Africa, Namibia is one of the few African countries where a self-drive holiday is an excellent option, with the extra flexibility that this brings. This can be particularly important and helpful if you are traveling with young children. Another important consideration when you’re planning to travel with younger children is that most of Namibia is malaria-free. For those children who are missing the familiar landmarks of their back garden the Sossusvel sand dunes offer the world’s largest (and most magnificently colored) sand pit that even the most discerning child would be thrilled to play in. You might find the waters on the coast of Namibia a little cool but it is well worth spending some time on a perfect and safe swimming beach with...

Zig Ziglar’s Tip on How to Get Twice as Much Done in One Day

Dear Mark, Before my last out-of-town trip, I had my most productive day in a long time. In fact, I easily completed twice as much in one day as I normally do, including two landing pages, a 3-page letter, and an autoresponder email. I also added some finishing touches to two other pieces and created outlines for two upcoming emails for a client. Feeling proud of myself, I remembered one of Zig Ziglar’s lessons for getting more done: “Treat every day like it’s the day before vacation, and you will get more work done!” Between company visiting and doing more traveling, lately I’ve had to really focus on getting things done in a shorter amount of time. No matter what, it always seems the day before, I’m down to the wire on things. That means I’m up early and get down to business immediately. Maybe you’re like that, too. You know what you need to get done before a vacation. You bang away, head down, to make sure you get everything completed so you can leave and not have to take work with you. You don’t get on Facebook or spend time trying to decide what to do next. You have an agenda. And if it’s not completed, you’re leaving someone hanging. Here are some tips to help you treat every day like you are going on vacation: Make a list. Rebecca Matter recommends using Post-it notes to write your goals for the next day. (Read her article here.) Make a list of everything you’ve got to get done—then work and don’t stray. Empower others to act for you....
