How to Survive At Work with a Hangover

You tried one or few drinks on a night out with friends, and – at 9 am at work – you’re really regretting it. Your head is pounding, your mouth feels like sawdust, and you wish your office mates would tiptoe and whisper when they’re near you. The thought of eating makes your stomach threaten to revolt, so you’ve skipped breakfast. All you can think about is how you’re going to survive till 5 in the evening. 1. It is not the day to wear those heels or uncomfortable clothes. You feel like crap, might as well complete the look. So just give up on trying. 2. Make sure you take a shower and brush your teeth. You don’t want to be at work smelling like booze. If you do happen to smell like booze, put some medicine on your table so you tell people it is the smell of the medicine if they ask. 3. During your lunch break get your head down and take a nap.  Hail a cab home for a quick thirty minutes of shut eye or lock yourself in your office and let your assistant know you can’t take any calls for the next hour. 4. Drink a lot of water and take some aspirin. 5. Wash your face with cold water, thoroughly brush your teeth and follow up with mouthwash. Repeat these steps a few times. 6. A mild-moderate painkiller will help with the headache. You might also want to take something to settle your stomach. 7. Drink orange juice for Vitamin C. 8. Drink a sports drink like Gatorade or Red Bull....

How To Deal with a Hangover

Went partying the day before? Have a hangover and want to deal with it? Here are some ways to deal with a hangover the next day. 1. Drink fruit juice. It has a kind of sugar called fructose that helps the body burn alcohol faster. 2. Drink lots of water, at least twice the amount of water to alcohol. 3. Take some pain relief tablets. Avoid aspirin as the alcohol has probably already made your stomach lining rather sensitive. 4. Foods such as grapes, yogurt and fried foods help to line the stomach and slow the alcohol from entering the bloodstream. Eating also speeds up your metabolism of both food and alcohol, thereby removing toxins from your body faster. 5. Engage in some exercise that will get your heart pumping and your body sweating. 6.
