Knowing Things About Yourself

I am not going to play a philosophical game of semantics here. That would be something like: If you are both the subject and the object, how could the first know the other? It is like two mirrors facing each other- just as self the subjects seeks to know what it is it becomes the object, like a dog running around chasing its tail. You realize you can never see your eyes of course; only their reflection. Such discourse adds nothing to the meaning of your life as far as I’m concerned, and in fact, I’ll go ahead and be bold enough to assert that this is exactly what self-analysis is. The fact is that you are a dynamic agent! A doer, a shaper and mover- these are your main attributes and responsibilities. You help make the world what is, by doing. Now I would assert that you can know yourself best by your actions. If a man drinks and gets into bar brawls and mistreats his family then that is what he becomes. Or at least that is a side to him. But consider a person who treats people with kindness and fairness, who is sensitive to the needs and wants of others and is attentive. A person who is generous and often buys people thoughtful little knickknacks, well then that person is entirely different isn’t she? My point is that we become what we act like, and that’s mostly what defines whom you are. The other aspect is our own inner thoughts and feelings, but though they may seem hidden, they too will eventually show themselves through...

Daily Motivation For Business

Daily motivation has two very important principles – knowledge and high energy. Knowledge is the key to confidence. When you are empowered with knowledge on a certain product, issue or situation, you can act confidently. If you are unsure of what to do, you will lack the confidence to step up and act in a way that the situation demands. Empower your team with the knowledge to act independently and efficiently. High Energy at the work place makes for a dynamic work environment. These days, employees spend a better part of their day at work and it’s important that the leader should charge the work environment with energy. This way, you can ensure that the employees love their work place and enjoy coming in to work. Are there some mantras that you can use to provide daily motivation to your employees? Yes, there are! Let’s find out what they are. Before Work, Pep your Employees Up Yes, there are a lot of things to do and yes, there are deadlines to meet. Clients are hammering on your head and demanding results and you need to get down to the work at hand ASAP. However, take the time to pep your employees up when they come in to work. How you say matters just as much as what you say. A few words of encouragement spoken genuinely will definitely go a long way in motivating your employees. Take the Time to be Nice to Them Whatever your work load, there is always time to be nice to your employees. Make them feel respected and wanted. Call them by their names....

Attract Money with Self Motivation

Self motivation is one of the most powerful forces you can use in order to achieve success, attract money and enjoy a unique lifestyle. How does one become self motivated though? Is there some sort of mystical force out there that drives some people and motivates them? The answer is “no” – self motivation, as the name suggests, is about being able to motivate yourself without any external assistance or influence. It is a skill as much as it is a state of mind. In order to be self motivated, you must also have a positive attitude about your life as it is currently and as you see it in the future. The first step in becoming self motivated is thanksgiving. You need to be thankful for where you are now. You may have made mistakes or errors in judgement in the past, and you may have much more that you want to be and do, but dwelling on what could have been or what might have been can be a serious and very negative distraction. Once you accept that where you are right now is your new ‘starting line’, then you can get on with the process of becoming self motivated and pursuing new goals and dreams – attract money, have a great health or attract an ideal partner. The next important point is that you have to be a dreamer that can put dreams into action. In the self-motivational classic “The Science of Getting Rich”, Wallace D. Wattles enlightens us that “Thoughts become things”. All creations that exist start with an idea. For you, your dream might...

Motivate Yourself With The Power Of Purpose

Purpose provides direction. To have a purpose also provides motivation. Direction and motivation in turn fuel success and a sense of achievement and accomplishment. You feel good when you experience a sense of purpose. You also feel in control of your life; you know where you are heading. These feelings are important ones to experience. To be without purpose is to feel at sea in a boat that has neither rudder nor even oars. When you feel a lack of purpose in your life you carry with you an inexplicable sense of loss. Something is missing, but you do not know what it is that is absent from your reality. You are not fully living the life that you intended to live. Many things can get in the way of your purpose or form barriers between you and your goals. Some of these things cannot be changed and you have to draw upon your inner resourcefulness to find a way around such issues, like river water weaving its way around rocks to eventually find its way towards a distant ocean. The greater your sense of purpose is, the easier it will be to adapt to circumstances, think laterally, and discover alternative routes to your destination. Other barriers to one’s motivation may have more subjective foundations. Worries and fears may inveigle their way into your mind, casting shadows in the way of your dreams, dulling your focus and dimming your enthusiasm. When your mind gives in to fears you find yourself robbed of the power of purpose. Fear ensures that you live in limbo, paddling purely to keep afloat instead...
